About The Jet Blue Airways

New York is a home to the affordable and non-stop airline services named as JetBlue Airways. Providing its services in more than 100 destinations of USA including north American countries like Mexico, Bermuda, Peru, Cuba, Jamaica, Costa Rica, Colombia and south American countries in conjunction with the Caribbean & central America The operational base of the JetBlue’s is situated at New York’s JFK International Airport. The flight is composed of Economic class cabin. The other service with 2 cabin service is available for the limited routes. JetBlue is the 6^th largest airline having its headquarters in the other parts of the New York City. Before April 2017, the airlines were serving only 85 destinations of America.

JetBlue Baggage Policy:

JerBlue Airways Baggage Policy offers numerous facilities like:

Checked Baggage, Snacks & eatables, Entertainment and Wi-Fi access, 30% of extra space, Comfortable seats featuring Massage and cushion facility, Spacious seats and Easy access to overhead bins. Other features includes:

4. Fees for Overweight bags will be charged according to the increased number checked.
5. Fee for the sports equipment will be applicable on certain items.

Jet Blue Carry-on protocol: 

 The Checked Baggage Policy at the JetBlue:

All the bags must be checked at the airport. The checked baggage will not be accepted before your scheduled departure time.

It is atleast 60 min before the departure time for International flights and for domestic flight it is atleast 40 min before the departure.

2 standard bags weighing 50 pounds(23 kilograms) and 62inches (157 cm) are allowed.

2 standard bags having 99pounds(44.91 kilograms) weight and height of 80inches(203.3 cm) will be strictly prohibited as they overrule the baggage policy.

Extra Baggage policy:

Depending on the number of checked luggage or bags including fares. The fees will be applied for the additional bag.

Oversize & Overweight Baggage Policy:

As mentioned above, the baggage exceed the specified limits will not be accepted or the additional charges will be charged accordingly.

Damaged Baggage or Delayed Luggage policy:

In case of any damage and delay it is necessary to make your baggage claim with crewmember of the airlines. You can call at the JetBlue baggage Service Office with in 4 hours after the arrival in case you already left the airport. For any Luggage related claim with in 21 days, you have to give written notice to the airline service.

Sport Equipment Policy

Golf equipment are allowed in JetBlue flights as per norms. Golf bags will not be charged with any extra fee until they overruled weight policy. Golf will be counted in checked bags as long as they are not stuffed with the mentioned goods.

JetBlue offers you a wide range of branded snacking and beverages for every flight. From EatUp boxes to the alcohol you will get the food of your choice.

Milk bars and Gourmet Ice creams are also available in the flight.

2. Movies:

You can enjoy 6 movies which are selected from Country’s top studios, 3 on inbound flights and other 3 movies on outbound flights. Movies are free on all flights.

3. Wi-Fi:

A free Wi-Fi system is also available for some flights.

4. Radio:

Sirius XM Radio cab be enjoyed with over 100 different channels. It is free of cost.

5. Amazon on JetBlue:

Airlines offers their customer with Amazon Videos, unlimited streaming with Fly-Fi. HD quality is promised including Amazon Originals. Prime members are allowed to access 10k movies and TV episodes.

Infant Policy 

• Children upto 2 years or 24 years of age cannot be charged with the seats as they can be taken on the laps.
• Only one infant is permitted per adult.
• More than one child under the age of 24 months or 2 years is travelling with 1 adult then a seat will be purchased for the additional one.
• You have to purchase a seat for your infant as long as you have a proper child restraint device.

Unaccompanied Minors

• Children who are minor and are travelling without parents will be considered as unaccompanied minors. Assistance from their departure to final destination will be provided by the airlines.
• This service is compulsory for the children travelling without guardian/ parents and having an age or are between 5 to 14.
• Children less than 5 years of age will not be allowed to travel without adult.
• These children will only allowed on non-stop flights. They will not be allowed on direct flights.

Policy for Pets:

• The pets passing these traits will be allowed in the passenger cabin:
• Pet has to be sit in its kennel without any disturbance during the entire flight.
• Domestic dogs and cats are allowed only.
• The size of the kennel should not exceeds its limit by 17*12.5*8.5 inches or weight more than 20lb.
• Passenger are allowed to choose 13*10*8.5 inches of soft-sided sherpa carrier.

Health documents of your pet required by the destination will be carried along by the passenger.
