The Southwest Airlines is the largest airlines which is located in Dallas. Southwest Baggage policy and protocols
The passengers of Southwest Airlines are allowed to carry 2 checked bags and one personal item which includes the handbag or a laptop bag. Garment bag or any other baggage will not be accessed as personal items. Carry on baggage should not exceeds the limits as per airline guidelines or must be fit in the overhead bins or under the seat.

Excess baggage or over size baggage
The permitted luggage weight must not be increased the limit of 62 inches including dimensions of 50lbs as per norms. In case of over limit extra cost will be imposed.
Overweight baggage policy
Passengers have to pay the extra cost for their extra luggage or overweight baggage. Bags having the weight more than 50 pounds will be charged will extra fee.
Baggage having the weight between 51 kg to 100 pounds or 160 to 292 cm will be charged accordingly.
Bags exceeds the limit of 100 pounds or more than 292 cm will be excluded from the checked baggage list.
Sports Equipment Policy
Golf bags, skis, hockey, fishing equipment are allowed if not exceeding the size and weight limits. Extra fees will be applied accordingly.
Pet policy
Small Cats and Dogs are allowed if and only if they are vaccinated. The pets are allowed in a pet carrier as per the size and weight protocols by the airlines.
No animals will be allowed to travel in-cabin on International flights.
