AIR INUIT AIRLINE

An airline based in the Quebec, Canada’s location Montreal borough of Saint-Laurent, Air Inuit operates domestic passenger services along with cargo and charter services in Nunavut and Nunavik. It is majorly located in Kuujjuaq airport.

History and Destinations

The airline is collectively owned by Inuit of Nunavik via Makivik Corporation where the operation started and established in 1978. In 2012, the airline relocated their headquarters to a new multi-purpose service on bus terminals near the Montreal-Trudeau International Airport. After four years, Melissa Haney, the Air Inuit pilot became the first female pilot to achieve the rank of captain.
