AIR MANAS AIRLINE

Air Manas is a low-cost airline with its main base at Manas International Airport. This Air Manas was founded in 2006 and carried out its first flight in December 2009. This airline operates both at domestic as well as international level.

Checked Baggage

This baggage is registered on the passenger’s ticket and the passenger is given a baggage label in exchange for this. The baggage is supposed to contain clothes and other valuable items like jewelry; laptops and items that can leak should not be included in the baggage.

The standard weight for the domestic flights is fixed as 15 kg and it is fixed as 20kg for international flights.

Air Manas does not take responsibilities for the damages like:

• Minor holes and scratches
• Damage to the handles, zips, wheels of any item of the luggage
• Damage caused to the luggage due to improper packing

It is to be noted that the maximum weight limit per baggage is 32kg as per EU regulations.

Hand Baggage

Hand baggage is the baggage taken on board by the passenger. According to the hand baggage policies of Air Manas, each passenger can carry one hand-baggage with dimensions as 20cm x 40cm x 55cm, weighing at most 8kg on international as well as domestic flights.

Whereas, airlines offer the facility of carrying certain items by paying extra charges:

• Handbag for traveling
• Overcoat, scarf, or shawl
• Umbrella or a walking stick
• Cameras and telescopes
• Books, magazines, and Laptops
• Baby carrycot and baby food

Lost Baggage

If in case you have lost your luggage accidentally, you need to report to the ground services along with the required documentation on the same day of the loss. The airlines do not take any responsibility for your lost items, so it is requested to carry all the valuable stuff in your handbag.

Breakable items, musical equipment, medicines, and dangerous items shall not be included in the luggage as the airlines hold no responsibility in case of their damage or loss.

Limitations for Baggage Acceptance

• Airlines forbid carrying any cutting or piercing item in the hand baggage that includes knives, razors and the like. These can only be carried in the checked baggage.
• Hazardous substances, that can affect the health and safety of others are also prohibited on- board.
• Weapons like guns and pistols are strongly restricted for security reasons.
• Other than this, despite no sharp edges, tools like tennis rackets, baseball bats, batons, bars, and clubs are banned.
• Chemicals and other toxic substances that can pose risk to human health or the content in the aircraft, like mercury and chlorine in the thermometer, fluid type batteries, detergents, beaches, and sprays shall not be taken to the aircraft.
