Also known as Iberia Regional, Air Nostrum is a regional Airline based in Valencia, Spain. It is an independent carrier that acts as the franchise for Iberia Airlines and Binter Canarias. It was founded in 1994. It operates on 91 domestic and international routes to 51 destinations and charter flights.

Hand Luggage

The permitted baggage entirely depends on the class you are traveling, the destination airport and the origin place. Generally, the baggage dimensions for hand luggage admitted must not exceed 56cm × 45cm × 25cm. This baggage must be light enough to be placed in the overhead compartment in the cabin. In the above-mentioned dimensions, handles, pockets, and wheels are also included.

Due to the small size of the aircrafts there are certain limits to the things that you can carry to the cabin. Also, your luggage will be placed in the luggage hold that you can easily collect upon arrival.

Sometimes due to high-occupancy in the flight, and due to no enough space in the cabin, carry-on baggage can travel in the hold without being extra charged.

You can easily carry a small briefcase, a laptop, camera, baby bag with food and drinks, portable music players, and mobile phones. All these items should be removed out of their cover and kept on the tray for easy examination and inspection.

Regarding the drinks, bottles with a maximum capacity of 1 liter can be carried inside a clear bag with zip or an adhesive. These medications are permitted inside the aircraft with a prior prescription from medical practitioners.

Items that can be explosive due to their chemical composition like toxic or radioactive substances are not permitted inside the flight. Also, some items like steel weapons are prohibited due to their shape and sharp edges.

Checked Baggage

This checked baggage policy varies for different passengers, opting different class of tickets business to economy.

The maximum weight allowed is 23kg, with the baggage dimensions of 158cm (height + width + length). For the baggage between 24kg to 32kg the passengers will be overcharged, whereas, above the maximum limit of 32kg the pieces are not admitted. The over-weight charge applied on the items above 23kg is from 60 Euros /60 USD. On should carefully handle the baggage receipt all through its journey. It is advisable to mention the contact details like address and email clearly on the baggage.

For the passengers traveling with infants with an additional seat booking they must have an additional car seat to carry the infant just by the side of the adult.
