Aklak Air is a Canadian airline that was established in 1977. The airline has its headquarters in Inuvik in Northwest Territories in Canada. The seasonal scheduled services and charter flights operated by this airline are in the entire Western Arctic. The main hub of this airline is Inuvik (Mike Zubko) Airport. Aklak Air has been operating flight services for the Inuvialuit Settlement Region for approximately 15 years as the chief provider of air transport. The airline has five fleets that include:

The airline serves domestic destinations that includes Ulukhaktok, Aklavik (depends on demand), Inuvik, Sachs Harbour, Fort McPherson, Paulatuk (if the ice road is closed or the ferry is not operated), and Tuktoyaktuk (depends on demand).

Free Baggage Allowance

• The free baggage allowance depending on the full or less fare would allow 30 kilograms.
• Travelers who buy two tickets for single occupancy are permitted to carry 60 kilograms.

Excess Weight and Charges

• Additional baggage will be shipped depending upon the space that is available.
• Additional luggage charges will be calculated at check-in

• Aklak Air is not responsible for any loss or damage that has been caused to the baggage by the airline or its crew.
• Passengers are liable for any unchecked items and personal belongings that are carried by them.
• Travelers are liable for any type of fragile or perishable articles.
• Aklak Air is not responsible if any damage is caused without the concern of Government Regulations, laws, Requirements, Orders, or from any causes that are beyond the control of airline itself.
