Headquartered in Cairo in Egypt, AlMasria Airlines is an Egyptian private airline that launched in 2008. Serving nine destinations, the airline has domestic as well as international flights. With affluent alliances and different mergers, it offers cargo services as well. The outsourcing of staff training & maintenance is done by EgyptAir. The “AlMasria” is an Arabic word which means “Egyptian”.
A service agreement has been made between EgyptAir and AlMasria Airlines, which looks after the maintenance of aircraft, and provides training programmes.
Being the first international airline, it is flied to both Saudi Arabia and Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz International Airport, Yanbu Airport, in 2009 and 2010 respectively.
This airline started its operations in June 2009. This airline fleet includes two Airbus A320-200, one Airbus A321-200, one Airbus A330-200, and one Boeing 727-500.
The AlMasria Airlines caters to 4 international destinations that includes Kuwait, Milan, Jeddah, and Naples and 5 domestic travel destinations that includes Luxor, Sharm El Sheikh, Cairo, Aswan, and Hurghada.
Carry-on Baggage
Economy Class passengers are eligible to a hand luggage permit of 7kg.
Checked Baggage
Business Class passengers are authorized to a complimentary checked baggage allowance of 20kg.
Airport Check-In
Travelers can check-in at the airport counter for their AlMasria Universal Airlines flight. This can be done by going to the member of staff of AlMasria Universal Airlines at the check-in desks. Cairo International Airport is the hub of many Egyptian and international airlines that includes AlMasria International Airlines, EgyptAir, Go Egypt and EgyptAir Express.
