Air Transportation International: Fleet, Baggage Policy, and In-flight Services!

Air Transportation International (ATI) holds an FAA Part 121 Air Carrier Certificate and numerous charters. The airline was founded in 1978 as US Airways, which was renamed as Interstate Airlines in 1980. It is a subsidiary of Air Transport Services Group. A success story of Airline expands its presence. In 2006, ATI was sold to Cargo International Holdings, which was itself owned by ABX Holdings, Inc. After two years, parent company ABX Holdings was renamed as Air Transport Services Group.

ATI: Fleet and Operations

ATI airline has its first Boeing 767, in 2008. In the present, the fleet exclusively has Boeing aircraft 767 and 757. For the last three years, the airline has accomplished various challenges keeping operational excellence as a priority. The challenges were:

• Combining 2 airlines into a complex operational passenger
• Cargo operation with a worldwide route system
• Consistently providing the flexibility to customer’s requirements whether ever changing or demanding
• Multiple operations across the country
• A great achievement of having a B757/ 767 high rating for flight crews
• Minimum Lower landings

Jim O’ Grady joined Air Transport International in September 2014 and became president in 2016. Through his 30 years of airline experience, he brought knowledge and leadership to the position. ATI has a significant track record of transporting various cargo types all over the world.

Baggage Policies

• Carry Baggage should have a maximum weight of 5kg.
• Your luggage should weigh 23 kg and less.
• The passengers are not allowed to carry sharp objects such as knives, nail cutter, and any other cutting implements.
• According to the security regulations, a limited amount of liquid aerosols and gels are allowed in carry-on luggage. The rules permit 100 ml to carry the liquid unless you are not carrying the medicines. For this, you should have authorised medical reference.

In-flight Services

The ATI Airline provides viable travel options for passengers. Your airfare will vary according to the flight class: Premium, Business, and Economy.
