BAGGAGE POLICY:

Checked Baggage:

Travellers are allow to relish free checked luggage allowance. But these are depends on the weight of the luggage and the route too. You are permit to carry n number of bags but the weight of the single bag is not more than 32 kg.

You may have to pay around Rs. 250 INR for per bag according to the SpiceJet extra baggage charges. If you are travelling with the Special Luggage, then you have to pay INR 1,000 on per items at the airport.

SpiceJet provides you free checked baggage allowance on domestic flights which are mentioned below:

• For flights from Jammu and Srinagar airports: 22 Kg
• For all other domestic flights: 15 Kg

You have to charge INR 250 per kg for excess weight.

Hand Baggage:

Passengers are permitted to carry 1 piece of luggage with the maximum weight of seven Kg and the dimensions should be depend on the kind of airline handling the flights.

• The dimension should be115 cm i.e. (55 cm + 35 cm + 25 cm) (L+W+H) for Boeing flights.
• And for Bombardier flights, dimension should be 108 cm i.e. (50 cm + 35 cm + 23 cm) (L+W+H).

You are permit to carry other small personal things include handbag, blanket, overcoat, laptop, camera, umbrella, book or instant food, which will counted as the hand luggage allowance.

Other Details:

• Passengers who arr traveling with international flights are allow tocarry alcohol if buy from Duty-Free shops.
• Travellers who are travelling with the international flights and then connecting with a domestic flights are not allowed to carry alcohol more than 100 ml according to the baggage rules.

Sports Equipment:

The airline charge Rs. 500 on every piece of sports equipment, if the weight is less than 12 kg. Any equipment which has more than 12 kg weight will considered as excess luggage. For excess weight you should have to pay Rs. 80 on per kg.

LOST BAGGAGE:

In any scenario, your luggage will lost or misplace you have to complaint at SpiceJet’s Passenger Services Officers after arrival. In case, if your luggage wouldn’t found then airline will pay you compensation about Rs. 200 per kg and up to Rs. 3000.

SpiceJet Web Check-in: –

The web check in is one of the best feature which will save your time. Only you should have to check all the ticket information and print out of the boarding pass. You can choose your preference seat.

Other mandatory Information for check-ins:

• Passengers can carry 1 carry on luggage. No checked luggage is permitted when you are using web check-in.
• After using web check-in you are not allowed to do any alteration and cancellation.
• The group of more than nine passengers cant use online check-in.
• You can selectyour seat during booking time or at the time of web check-in.
• Check in start 2 hours before and closes 45 minutes before the departure time.

FOR MINORS:

• According to the terms and conditions of SpiceJet Airline, kids of 5 years and older fly with the one adult.
• Kids whose age is lie between 5 & 12 years are observe as Unaccompanied Minors and only theycan relish the Unaccompanied Minor service.
• Unaccompanied Minor serviceis not applicable in case of interline travel.
• Kids less than 15 years fly when they are accompanied by the passenger whose age is more than18 years.
• Kids whose age is lie between 12 and 16 years are referred as Young Passengers. They can fly all alone.

For Pets:

• This airline only allow the carriage of animals only with the domestic flights, if you booked via cargo service.
• The carriage on internationalflights are not accepted by the rules of SpiceJet.
• The carriage of Guide Dogs on international routeare not allowed, But the guide dogs for visually impaired travellers are permitted on domestic flights.

FOR INFANTS:

Here are some rules which are attached with the kids baggage allowance :

• You cant book separate seat for kids.
• Kids are not allowed for free checked baggage allowance.
• You must have to carry the age proof of infant.
• No baby car seat or stroller are allowed in the cabin.
• Child up to age of 24 months have to paya fee of Rs. 525 add on the government PSF of Rs. 225, if he/ she will sit on the adult’s lap.
• Adults can fly with the infant additional piece of hand luggage of maximum 7 kg.

For Students:

Students who are flying with any of the airline of SpiceJet will acquire 8% discount on the base fare on all the flight booking which ill made only by the official website of the airline. This will only applicable with the SpiceJet Domestic network. Under this scheme, students are allowed to carry maximum 10 kg weight. While booking you should have to show your school or university ID proof. And this offer is valid to those students whose age is above 12 years.

For Indian Armed Forces:

The Indian Army passengers acquire the chance to book air tickets on 50% discounts on base fare. The service fee and the airport charge are apply at the time of booking. These fares also have limitations when its all about the alteration or cancellation of the policy.
