GOA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Goa is one of the most visited tourist destinations in India. The International Airport of Goa is called the Dabolim Airport which is the only one airport in the city of Dabolim in Goa, India. This airport has an integrated terminal and supports approximately 6 million passengers annually. As a result of capacity constraints here at the airport, a new Mopa Airport is under construction.

Terminals

The integrated terminal of the airport serves both the domestic and international flights in a balanced manner. The airport has large frame-less glazes and has around 8 aerobridges with a sewage treatment plant. This terminal is comprised of a total of 75 check-in counters with in-line baggage screening system. Moreover, the cargo is handled at the basement. The terminal is so well organized that the passengers can easily locate the security checking areas at the airport.

Lounge

The airport gives the facility of a lounge at the domestic and international terminal building. The lounge is called the Port Lounge and is open 24×7.

At the Domestic Departures (land-side) and at International Arrivals (land-side and air-side) passengers can avail the service of currency exchange.

Buses: You can go to nearby places like Vasco Da Gama, etc. in public buses in Goa. The availability of local and regional buses in Goa will help you to explore the place.

Train: You can find the closest railway station at a distance of 1km from the airport, i.e., the Dabolim Rail Station.

Shuttle Buses: Passengers on holiday packages can easily avail the free services of shuttle buses from the airport.

Taxi: Choose a prepaid taxi available at the taxi booth which is outside the airport. For safety reasons, select your taxi service from the taxi booth only.
