Jaipur International Airport is located in the suburbs of Sanganer in Rajasthan. It is also declared as the 2^nd best airport in the world by the Airports Council International,  having an estimation of about 2 to 5 million passengers in total every year. The airport is capable of serving about 1000 passengers at a single time. The fleet consists of 14 aircraft and the Jaipur International Airport code is “JAI”.

Terminals and passages at Jaipur International Airport

Terminal 1: The terminal 1 of Jaipur International Airport was used for International flight operations, flight landings and take offs and i.e. about four years ago. After sometime in the year 2013, international flights were shifted to the newly created Terminal 2. Now, the Terminal 1 is used to provide the service to haj flights with cargo bookings. There are nearly 8 international flights under service support by the Jaipur International Airport. The terminal has no parking space and the passengers have to take bus to travel from one terminal to the other.

Terminal 2: The Terminal 2 was build in the year 2009 and it has numerous facilities and is covering the area of 22,950 sq mtrs approximately. It is loaded with the additional features like central air conditioning, car parking, central heating, flight information display, inline X-ray baggage inspection system, CCTV surveillance, Escalators, public address system etc. During the festive or demanding season, The airport is capable of supporting nearly about 500 passengers and more. The Terminal 2 is also famous for its artsy and diverse reflection as it is covered with the glimpse of the Rajasthani culture. The entrance is sculpted with dholpur stones and sandstone and amalgamation of different Rajasthani paintings. Terminus is used for both international and domestic flights. The availability of VIP lounges are also there. The building also has a total of 24 check points, 4 custom and security counters, 6 immigration counters and many more.

Bus: Bus service can be easily available from the nearest bus stop which is at 5 minutes walking distance from the airport. The timings for the bus services gets active by 5 A.M in the morning up to 9:30 P.M.

Taxi: Taxi service is also there which takes about 30 minutes to the railway station. In case of non availability you can ask the information desk for the taxi conveyance.

Train: Jaipur railway station is at the distance of 13 kms from the airport.
