SAN DIEGO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

San Diego is an international airport situated at San Diego in United States. The airport supports a number of flights to various parts of the world including, Switzerland, Japan, Mexico, and Germany. This international serves mainly two prominent airlines called Southwest Airlines and Alaska Airlines. San Diego airport is one of the world’s most busiest runway airport.

Terminals

San Diego International Airport has 2 terminals.

Terminal 1:

This terminal has 2 parts i.e. the East and West and 19 gates. This terminal supports Alaska Southwest Airlines the most.

Terminal 2:

The Terminal T2 also consists of 2 parts, i.e. the East and West. All other airlines are served by this terminal of the airport. This terminal has many interesting art pieces. There is a meditation room at the terminal for the passengers called “The Spirit of Silence”.

Computer Terminal:

This computer terminal had four gates and the last flight to take off from here was the American Eagle Flight #2883 in 2015. Now, this terminal operates the administrative offices of the Regional Airport Authority.

Military Lounge:

The United Service Organizations (USO) provide a charge-free military lounge to the active members of the US Military and their family members. This military lounge is located at Terminal 2, near gate parking lot.
