Bhimbetka Rock Shelters
Bhimbetka Rock Shelters is situated in the Vindhyan Himalayas, near the southern boundary of the central Indian plain. Under the relatively dense forest, five groups of natural rock shelters with paintings that seem to be from the Mesolithic Period up to the historical period reside among large sandstone rocks.
