Emirates Airline has announced some changes in Checked-Baggage policies, which will be implemented from 4th February 2019.
A circular has been sent out by the airline to the passengers and it says that the travelers who hold economy class ‘saver’ and ‘special’ tickets will be allowed to carry 25 kg & 15 kg of checked baggage respectively.
This infers that the baggage allowance is now 5 kg lower than the previous policies.
The ‘flex’ ticket holders can carry the checked-baggage weighing 30 kg. They may also carry hand-baggage or carry-on baggage of 7 kg.
The business class travelers are allowed to take 40 kg of baggage weight with them and 50 kg is the baggage allowance for the first-class passengers.
Also, if you already have flight tickets with Emirates which are due before 4th February then, don’t worry! The previous baggage policies will apply to them.
