Important COVID-19 Guidelines

3. Airline crew passengers and merchant seaman with visas – C-1/D, B1, H1, L who are looking to join either an airline or a ship in the USA are welcomed.

4. Those passengers who are engaged in wind farm activity, private air/sea crew, Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) activity, or other similar crew-member activities.

5. Students who are either continuing their studies in offline mode or have joined an educational institution after August 2021 are allowed to enter the USA provided they have in writing from their schools.

Is COVID-19 Test Necessary?

Yes, it is an absolute must if you want to travel to America. All acceptable tests are mentioned above and here are some general instructions related to the tests. People who are fully, partially, or unvaccinated; everyone needs to have their tests reports ready before departure.

Fully vaccinated travelers need to produce a pre-departure negative COVID-19 viral test report. Irrespective of their citizenship and nationality, it has to be taken within 72 hours or three days before the flight’s departure.

Unvaccinated air passengers also need to undergo the COVID-19 test but within one day of departure to the United States. This includes unvaccinated US citizens along with lawful permanent residencies.

For children below 2 years of age, US military personnel are exempted from having COVID-19 test reports.
