America’s one of the most popular aircraft carrier called “Virgin America” started serving in the year 2007. It focus on high quality services at the modest rates. Virgin America is having a squadron of about 60 aircraft, 50 out of which are Airbus A320-200. These A320-200 airbuses have the lineup of around 150 passengers and the rest 10 is the Airbus A319-100 with the seating structure of about 120 passengers. Currently, the airline is serving more than 20 termini transversely America and other three regions of Mexico.

There are 3 seating classes in Virgin Airlines comprising of the First Class, Main Cabin and a Main Cabin Select.

First Cabin Select

The seating segment on the First Cabin consists of 55-inch pitch which is 21 inches wide. The seats are really comfortable and are having massage functions and various adjustable features. The passengers opting for the First Class have to go through dedicated airport check-ins, Boarding plane and security screening. Moreover, The passengers of the First Class lineup can request for complimentary meals, tidbits and alcoholic draft. The passengers will be served with free live television programs including free on-demand movies and games.

Main Cabin

The seats of the Main Cabin are arranged in the 32-inch pitch and 17.7 inch width. The seats are also have adjustable headrests infused with power ports. The inflight entertainment including the free live television having a pay per view on demand movies and shows. The snacks and meals will be provided on order.

Main Cabin Select

This service is also known as the premium Economy Class on-board service of Virgin America flights. The seats are having the lineup in a 38-inch pitch and are 17.7-inch wide and are featured with reserved luggage bins exclusively. These seats are set in the exit row and are behind the embankment. The meals and snacks are complimentary during the flight along with on-board entertainment services. The premium Economy Class passengers will be given the high priority over the Main Cabin passengers during the check-ins, Aircraft boarding and security screening.

Baggage Policy of Virgin Airlines

The weight of the check-in baggage is 23 kg and the limits for the carry on have to meet the specific dimensions as per the airline protocols and have top be fir in the overhead bins.

The fee will be charged according to the type of destination and fares. The normal amount for the one through the tenth check-in baggage is $25.
